About Our Bikes...

Electra's (www.electra.com) specially angled frames are ergonomically designed to keep you properly aligned in a comfortably, upright riding position. Although our bikes look as good as the old classics, our Comfort geometry makes them feel great too. That's because our "mile plus" Comfort geometry gives you the smooth ride of a cruiser and the pedaling power of a modern bike. Ride an Electra and you'll feel the difference; with every yard and every mile they just get more and more comfortable.

These are the bikes you dreamed of as a kid.  Nostalgic, stylish, and timeless, like a Sunday afternoon in 1954.  Our originial, perfect bikes with the attention to detail that built the Electra name.

The TOWNIE (one model):

Old-fashioned cruiser bicycles make anything other than a short trip a drag and mountain bikes are simply not meant for the pleasure of relaxed leisure riding. Because of it's unique design and adjustability - the Townie can fit a wide range of different sized riders with only one frame size. By mixing the comfortable laid-back seating position of the odd, but fast recumbent with our smart and swoopy curved cruisers, we created the next generation of bikes, the Townies.
